SUMMER ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

Our programme is well on its way but there is still time to left to join in on some of the activities that we have on offer:

MONDAY 17TH AUGUST 6-8PM - Arts & Crafts - we are making 'arty' clocks that are fully functional and can be taken home once completed

THURSDAY 20TH AUGUST - Go Karting - Leaving the centre at 6pm to start the session from 7pm and returning back to the centre between 9-10pm - COST £10.00 per person - You must be above the height of 4ft 8" to take part - Places are going fast to if you are interested please book and reserve you place with the youth workers ASAP

SATURDAY 22ND AUGUST - Drayton Manor Park & Zoo - Leaving the centre promptly at 9.30am with return to the centre between 5-6pm - packed lunches required - COST £10.00 per person for members only.  Other family members can attend but are required to pay £18.50 per person.  Costs include entrance fee and coach contribution.  Again places are going very quickly so you need to book ASAP.

TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST - 6-8PM - Dance workshop - all welcome, regardless of your ability!
 
THURSDAY 27TH AUGUST -  Creation Skate Park - Leaving the centre at 6pm to start the session at 7pm, returning to the centre by 10pm - COST £10.00 per person which includes hire of safety wear and bicycle or scooter hire

Come to the centre during normal evening session to book your places - all members welcome!!

Here are some suggestions.  We want to know what you are interested in doing during the summer holidays so pop into the centre and let one of the youth workers know.

Drama/ Acting - Arts & Crafts - Athletics - Non-Contact Boxing - Photography - Camping - First Aid Training - Gardening - Playing the Guitar - Kite Making & Flying - Video Making - Rowing/ Canoeing (boats) - Swimming & Life Saving - Cinema Trips - Go Karting - Rock Climbing - Theme Parks - Ice Skating - Symphony Hall Visit - Black County Museum Trip - Circuit Training - Circus Skills - Cookery/ Food Tasting - Cycling - Football - Fashion - Uniformed Services Talks (Police, Fire, Ambulance, Armed Forces etc), Golf, Jewelry Making - Orientering - Making Music - Sailing - Theatre Workshops & Trips - Dancing - Bowling - Residential (2 nights away from Birmingham) - Trips to Zoos, Wildlife Parks, Safari, feeding the animals experience - Roller Skating - Steam Train Trip, Trip on the Canals etc etc

STAND UP FOR ST MARTIN'S

Please come and support the centre at our comedy fundraising event to be held this Friday 29th May - doors open from 6.30pm. 

Admission on door £5.

Bar open.

Tombola with many prizes available.

7.30pm - Come and learn about what's available at the youth centre 

Followed by MC Barbara Nice with comedy provided by the Misfits Comedy Group.

Everyone welcome so spread the word to family and friends.

TOMORROW WEDNESDAY 18TH FEBRUARY - LES MISERABLES (the musical) - Anyone interested in seeing the musical, Les Miserables should come to the centre tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6.45pm.  A group of young people, along with the youth workers will then go to St Martin's Church in order to see the film.  It is expected that you would return to the centre at around 9.30pm.  ALL WELCOME
TODAY TUESDAY 17TH FEBRUARY - PANCAKE DAY

Come along to the center at 6.30pm tonight to make and eat pancakes.
